Lipoedema

Lipoedema is a bilateral symmetrical, flabby limb swelling. It mainly affects the legs but can sometimes affect the arms too. Lipoedema is thought to occur as a result of an abnormal build up of fat cells in the tissues. It is often described as riding breeches or saddle-bags in appearance.Read Less
