Assessment

An initial 90 minute appointment for assessment is required for all new clients. This will include an in-depth medical history, examination of swollen areas, measurements, verbal and written information and planning of care.

Maintenance

A maintenance programme initially involves a post assessment follow-up appointment after 2 weeks with further appointments as required usually after 4 weeks, extending to 3, 6 or 12 monthly review appointments as clients gain confidence with independent care.

Intensive

An intensive programme initially requires more frequent appointments depending on the severity of the condition
